6 months old...

I love my boys. Since the day I met Scott, I knew I would marry him. Really, it's true.

The moment I saw CJ, it was love at first sight. Even though I was exhausted after 60+ hours of labor, I couldn't wait to get my hands on him. The moment I did, I never wanted to let him go.

I wondered if the same would be true for Will; my heart was so full, I wondered if there would be room for more. Crazy, I know. I loved him in a abstract way in my belly, but I wondered how it would be when he was really here. I actually heard Will before I saw him. He came out making his presence known, and the sweet sound of his tiny (but loud) screams melted my heart in a way for which I wasn't ready. Every day I melt again when I see him.

I won't lie and tell you the last six months have been easy. Some moments are picture perfect. Others, I feel like Nero watching Rome burn. But even though we have our ups and downs, I wouldn't change one moment.

I love this little man so much that sometimes I feel like my heart might explode just from looking at him. He smiles and I feel like I might melt into a puddle. There are so many things that make Will, Will. He's simply a gift.

I love his smile. Even when I am at my worst, when he smiles that big toothless smile at me, I can't help but feel better. He has an endless supply of tickle spots...legs, knees, under his chin, belly. You name it, it's ticklish, and oh the belly laughs that come with it. He has also started laughing because he thinks things are funny, mostly at his brother. Will loves to watch CJ. The other day CJ ran circles around us for literally 8 minutes and Will only took his eyes off him when CJ would run behind us. It was hilarious.

While we were in Tennessee last week, Will had his half birthday. I thought nothing would be better than to take his pictures on a quit his great, great grandmother made. It's mostly made of fabric from scraps of clothes his great grandmother made for his grandmother and great aunt. Priceless...

And here is my handsome little man...

And this guy LOVES...
