Still catching up. :)
We had a GREAT New Year's day. The morning started early thanks to Mr. CJ, but that was OK because we had an early breakfast with our cousin Phil. Papa was nice and let CJ hang out while Scott and I got ready. They watched the news and computed on the sofa. These two always have lots of fun.
We were looking forward to the whole Hetzel/Collins clan being together, but unfortunately Phil had to be in south Florida later that day. He was in the Army for a few years, but now he is going to school and is serving in the Guard. He had drill, so we made sure to see him before he left. We love Phil, and we took him to a classy breakfast at Waffle House.
When we got home, CJ crashed. I am not exaggerating when I say he took over a three hour nap. He must have known what was coming. :) When he got up it was time to play with cousins and EAT! Here is CJ and Jayden. They had lots of fun taking and playing before lunch. They are only a few months apart, so watching them grow up together is going to be so much fun.
Then it was time to get our E-A-T on. We had roast, potatoes, carrots and come of Aunt Josie's wonderful homemade bread. CJ even got to eat carrots from the big people table...mushed up of course.
Even though CJ liked the food, the best part of his lunch was playing with his Uncle Butch. These two were so funny together. CJ's look was priceless. He loves his Uncle Butch.
Then we braved the cold and took a family picture before the guys headed out to see Avitar while the girls and little boys stayed in and played. Pretty good looking bunch huh?
