If you read the previous post, you realized Scott was home...YEAH! He got in early, early Thursday morning. I got up around 1:30 and CJ and I were on the road to get him by 2:30. The arrival ceremony was supposed to be at 3:00, but once they finally got everything done/turned in, it wasn't until about 4:45. It was a LONG wait, but oh so worth it. CJ was a treat through the whole thing; strangers kept telling me how cute he was and how well behaved he was. I woke him up at 2:00 in the morning, and he didn't so much as fuss until I tried to lay him back down when we got home.
Here is a picture someone snapped of us once we finally got our daddy! After over and hour and a half wait, it was torture to be able to see him during the 15 minute ceremony but not be able to run and hug him.
CJ, of course, in addition to being naturally adorable, had an adorable Gran original to wear when we picked up daddy. He wasn't in a photo shoot mood on Thursday, so these are from today after church. Can you tell that the front of the outfit says, "Welcome Home Daddy..." too precious.
We have had lots of fun since daddy has been home. CJ hasn't wanted to let him out of his sight, so it was nice he came home and has been able to take a long weekend. I have loved watching them wrestle around, play and snuggle. It will melt your heart. The only drawback is that I am running at half supply of hugs that I used to get since I now have to share them. But that is well worth it!
